Common Time Management Problems

1)The Procrastinator

Don't do today what you can put off tomorrow

"Procrastination" is the "thief of time"

Leads to:
  • Backlogs
  • Panic
  • Desperation
  • Not being able to cope
2)The Poor Delegator

There will always be things that we should delegate to others and not do ourselves – to children, partners, others

Why don't we. Are we:
  • Afraid that they will say no
  • Feel a failure that we can't cope
  • Are sure that we can do it so much better
  • Frightened of a confrontation
  • Feel that we have no right to ask – other peoples time is no much more important than ours

3)

The Undirected Worker

No clear idea of where to go or what to do, no clear life plan of how to get there, no life goals – short or long term.

.

Which of these relate to you? Which problems do you have most trouble with and why?

.

Well – lets try to do something about it. Move on to the next section 'Spending Time'
